These terms and conditions of sale and delivery apply to the purchase of goods on www.ahb.dk/webshop for delivery in Denmark.

Order and payment

www.ahb.dk/webshop is open 24 hours a day, so you can almost always shop. However, it may happen that we close the store due to maintenance. You can only make purchases when the store is open and accessible.

To shop on www.ahb.dk/webshop, you must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid payment card that we accept. However, if you are not yet 18 years of age, you may still purchase items if you have obtained your guardian's consent or otherwise have the legal right to make the purchase.

You select the items you wish to purchase and add them to the ”shopping cart.” You can revise the contents of the shopping cart right up until the moment of ordering, and you can check the contents and the price of the items at any time.

Any additional payments for, e.g., shipping and payment card fees will only be calculated right before you are ready to pay.

When you are ready to order, click ”Proceed to Checkout” where you will enter your name, address, email, phone number, and payment information.

You can change the contents of your shopping cart right up until you confirm your purchase by pressing the ”Order and Pay” button. After that, your order will be processed by www.ahb.dk/webshop.

Order Receipt and Confirmation

Once you have ordered an item from us, you will receive a receipt for our receipt of your order. However, a binding purchase agreement is only concluded when you have received an order confirmation from us.

14-day right of withdrawal

As a general rule, there is always a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases, from the day the item is received.

For goods that are covered by the right of withdrawal under the Consumer Contracts Act, the right of withdrawal can only be exercised if the goods are returned in the same condition and quantity. The right of withdrawal therefore lapses if you use the goods in a way that is clearly detrimental to their resale value.

Some items are not covered by the right of withdrawal, and this will be indicated during the ordering process.

The right of withdrawal runs from the day you receive the item. If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve, the deadline is extended to the following workday. In the case of several different items ordered in one order but delivered individually, or an item delivered in several lots, the period runs from the receipt of the last item or lot.

Upon receipt, you may only handle the goods in a way that allows you to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

For some items, there is no right of withdrawal, or you may lose your right of withdrawal. We will notify you in the order confirmation if there are items for which the right of withdrawal does not apply, for example, due to the nature of the item, or where you may lose your right of withdrawal by breaking seals.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw by means of an unambiguous statement no later than 14 days after receiving the item. You can use this Standard Cancellation Form, if you wish to cancel your purchase.

When returning items, please ensure they are securely packaged. You are responsible for the package/items until we receive them. Therefore, keep the postal receipt and any tracking numbers.

You must pay the costs of returning the item yourself if you cancel the purchase.

Important

We expect you to dispatch the goods as soon as possible after you have notified us of your cancellation, and you must return them no later than 14 days after you have cancelled.

Please note! We do not accept packages sent via cash on delivery.

Documentation for your purchase

You must attach a copy of the order confirmation or other documentation for your purchase. 

Refund

When we receive the item, we will check it, and you will be refunded the amount you paid us for the purchase.

The amount will always be transferred to the same payment method you used for the purchase. For example, if you paid by card, the purchase amount will be refunded to the payment card you used for the purchase.

Note!

You can lose your purchase amount, entirely or partially. This happens if the value of the item has diminished because

• you have actually put the item to use
• it was damaged while you were responsible for it
• you have handled the goods in a way that was not necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning
• You have not adhered to the limitations of the right of withdrawal that follow from sealing, product type, etc.

Complaint – If there is something wrong with the item

Your purchase is covered by the Sale of Goods Act, including the defect rules. This means you can either have a defective item repaired, exchanged, get your money back, or a price reduction, depending on the specific situation.

Of course, it is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damaging behavior.

The right of complaint does not cover defects, damage, or wear and tear, directly or indirectly caused by incorrect operation, poor maintenance, violence, or unauthorized interventions.

You must contact us within ”a reasonable time.”

You must make a claim within a ”reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect in the product. If you make a claim within two months of discovering the defect, the claim will always be considered timely.

Complaints about defects that should have been discovered upon a usual inspection of the goods must be reported to A Hereford Beefstouw within a reasonable time.

The item can also be returned in person at our address above. When returning the item, please state the problem as detailed as possible. It is not a requirement, but processing will be expedited if sufficient information accompanies the package – for example, a copy of the order confirmation, a copy of any prior correspondence, etc.

In case of a justified complaint, we will refund reasonable shipping costs.

If the complaint is justified, we will, of course, refund your reasonable shipping costs for returning the item to us. Otherwise, you will have to bear all transportation costs yourself, including our shipping costs for returning the item after inspection.

Any refund of shipping costs will be made via bank transfer, and Aage Damgaard ApS therefore needs your bank account number and account number. This information is not sensitive and can be provided without hesitation via email or other traditional forms of correspondence.

Remember that the item must always be shipped in secure packaging, and you should obtain a shipping receipt. You are responsible for the package or items until we receive them. Therefore, please keep the shipping receipt, including information about shipping costs and any tracking number.

Please note! We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery or by similar methods.

Personal Data

To shop at www.ahb.dk/webshop, you must provide at least the following information:

• Name
• Address
• Email address
• Phone/cell phone number

The above data, along with information about the items you have purchased, will be stored for 5 years from the end of the fiscal year to which the information relates, in accordance with Section 10 of the Bookkeeping Act, after which the information will be deleted.

Information will not be disclosed or sold to third parties, unless this occurs in connection with a restructuring or a full or partial sale of the company. Any disclosure in such a situation will be made in accordance with the personal data protection laws in effect at any given time.

As a customer, you have the right to access the data we have collected about you, and you may object to the processing of such data in accordance with the provisions of the Danish Act on the Processing of Personal Data.
